TG Manager Glossary

What is a Story card?
A Story card merges posts about the same event from multiple sources into one card, so your feed doesn’t fill with duplicates. It shows a ★ N variants badge; the default composite view combines the best-scored text with the richest media. Wrongly merged events can be split again with “Unmerge group”.
What is the Publish guard?
The Publish guard is a pre-publish duplicate check. After you hit PUBLISH, it compares your final text against the target channel’s recent posts — an exact URL match or 90%+ text similarity is flagged. You can then Publish anyway or send the draft as a Reply. It never blocks publishing on a service error.
What is the World impact score?
The World impact score is the AI’s rating of how big a story is globally (0–100). It is weighted against your topic relevance: push World impact to maximum to never miss major world events, or to zero to care only about your topics.
What are Topics and Relevance?
Topics are up to 20 subjects you care about. Each match between a post and one of your topics adds points via the Relevance weight. Raising the Relevance slider hides low-scoring posts, so a stricter feed means fewer, more relevant cards.
What is the Highlight threshold?
The Highlight threshold is the score at which a card turns green — a visual marker for “this matters”. It always sits at least 30 points above your Relevance setting, so highlighted posts are a subset of visible ones, never the other way round.
What is the Blocked feed?
The Blocked feed quarantines posts matching any of your blocked topics (and content-free posts). They never appear in the main feed; black chips mark the blocked topic and you can unblock with one click. Blocked and regular topics are mutually exclusive.
What is RSS auto-discovery?
RSS auto-discovery means you paste just a website domain and TG Manager finds its feeds for you. If a site blocks bots, a Google News fallback feed is offered automatically; if nothing is found, RSSHub is suggested as a source for generated feeds.
What are AI credits?
AI credits pay for cloud AI processing: 1 credit per Gemini-processed message. Every day your balance is topped up to 500 free credits (reset at 0:00 UTC); local models via LM Studio or Ollama are free and don’t consume credits. Balance lives in the header badge and on the account page.
